The United States Navy - Blue Angels
Hold on to your hat! The most famous jet team in the world will rock the skies when they return to New England for an encore performance. A Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators. It includes the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-plane Diamond Formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of its two Solo Pilots.
Formerly known as the Heavy Metal Jet Team, Black Diamond is one of the world's only non-military jet demonstration teams. The team's inaugural season was in 2011, which saw them become the most talked about performers on the air show circuit and a highly sought-after team for air shows in 2012.
Sean D. Tucker is a National Aviation Hall of Fame legend who is internationally known for his awe-inspiring aerobatic flying routine; receiving the highest and recognitions. Throughout nearly 40 years of Tucker's air show experience, he has won numerous competitions and has flown more than 1,000 performances, in front of an excess of 80 million fans, and over 425 air shows.
With almost two decades of experience performing at air shows and races around the country, Goulian has earned a reputation as one of the world's greatest civilian aerobatic performers. His state-of-the-art Wheelen Extra 330SC helps Goulian awe crowds nationwide by allowing him to maneuver at speeds up to 260 miles per hour with a wingspan of 24.4 feet.
Jane Wicker performs her wing walking act like it was done back during the Golden Age of Aviation. Jane will climb, walk and hang from her beautiful 450 HP Boeing Stearman as she excites the crowds. Following her wing walking performance, the Stearman will steal the sky to show spectators its unique maneuvers.
The TBM-3E "Avenger" was one of the outstanding torpedo bombers of World War II. First seeing action at the Battle of Midway, the TBM became the workhorse of the United States Navy and Marines during the war and continued to fly operationally for the U.S. throughout the 1950's.
Dan Marcotte is an aerobatic aviation enthusiast and New England native from Bakersfield, Vermont. In his Ultimate 10-200 Biplane designed by Gordon Price, he is sure to thrill his local fans!
